Interstellar «Interstellar» is a science fiction film released in 2014. It was directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain. The film is set in a future where humanity is facing a catastrophic crisis caused by environmental disasters that have left the Earth uninhabitable. As the film begins, we see Cooper, a former pilot and engineer, living on a farm with his family. Cooper is recruited by a group of scientists who are working on a plan to save humanity by finding a new home on another planet. The scientists have discovered a wormhole that leads to a distant galaxy, and they believe that one of the planets in that galaxy may be suitable for human habitation. They ask Cooper to join their mission and pilot a spacecraft through the wormhole, and Cooper agrees, leaving his family behind. Cooper is joined on the mission by a team of scientists, including Amelia Brand, a physicist, and Romilly, an astronaut. As they travel through the wormhole, they encounter a series of challenges and obstacles, including time dilation, hostile alien life forms, and physical and psychological dangers. As they explore the different planets in the galaxy, they discover that one of the planets, called Edmunds’ Planet, is suitable for human habitation. However, they also discover that the planet is being threatened by a mysterious force that is destroying the planet’s ecosystem. In the end, Cooper and the team are able to save Edmunds’ Planet and find a new home for humanity, but not without making some sacrifices along the way.
